The ground engineering services provided by Greenfield Associates are directed by Tom Skailes in our Bath office. Tom has over 20 years experience in ground investigation, engineering geology and geotechnics, and over 12 years experience in contaminated land investigation, assessment and clean-up.

We have carried out numerous investigations and assessments for projects across the UK ranging from domestic houses to replacement secondary schools and beyond, and pride ourselves on producing a quality product, with particular emphasis on providing an interpretative report that is tailored to the proposed development.

Drawing on 17 years’ of experience working within large multidisciplinary engineering consultancy across a broad range of projects within the UK and overseas we are very familiar with the information needs of structural and civil engineers, architects and regulatory bodies and can provide sensible discussion, advice and design accordingly.
